Yggdrasil enters Lithuania via its deal with Betsson

Yggdrasil has been a loyal partner of Betsson Group for quite a few years and recently they bolstered this relationship by collaborating with Betsson’s brand in Lithuania, Betsafe. After Denmark, Italy, Latvia and Spain, yet another jurisdiction is added to Yggdrasil’s reach as it’s the first time they collaborate with a Lithuanian brand.

Betsafe will offer to its players Yggdrasil’s second Splitz game, named Neon Rush, which will be launched in April. ‘Splitz slots’ are the new sensation of the industry as they bring fresh elements to the players’ standard game. Splitz slots offer more potential wins to players as they feature mystery symbols which change into the standard symbols of the game. So, in every spin, the possible ways to win are increasing according to the shape that the mystery symbols take. This creates more suspense as the player should wait for the final outcome of each spin. In addition, Neon Rush offers six jackpots which can hide immense winnings for the players.

Betsson will not only gain access to Splits slots and other Yggdrasil games but to the promotional tools of the provider as well. Such a tool is BOOST, an in-game, prize-dropping mechanism that drives players’ engagement to high levels.

Patrick Nordwall, Head of Nordics at Yggdrasil, expressed his satisfaction about the extension of a “long-lasting partnership” towards a new market. He also elaborated on the strategy of the company to enter regulated markets like Lithuania and promoting its new products like Splitz slots.

Ciara Nic Liam, Product Director at Betsson Group, expressed her certainty that Yggdrasil will prove to be an instant success in Lithuania like it is in other markets and praised the diversity of the games and the will for pioneering moves of the Swedish provider.
