Wazdan, the Malta-based provider, confirmed that they have entered the Hungarian gambling market. Wazdan signed a deal with Grand Casino the sole online casino operator that is licensed by the Hungarian Gaming Commission. Just before 2019 came into an end, Grand Casino launched Wazdan games, thus enabling the famous provider to “invade” the Hungarian online gambling market.
Grand Casino went live just two years ago in 2018 as a result of the change in the Hungarian gambling legislation which allowed online gambling. The Hungarian Gaming Commission has implemented a state of monopoly in the market, so Grand Casino being the only available option for players in this region. The site is a product of years of preparations by its designers as it should cover all the specific needs that were asked by the Hungarian Parliament, meaning player safety, data protection, gaming fairness, responsible gaming and overall security.
Due to the aforementioned, Grand Casino is very cautious with its partnerships as they sign deals only with proven “players” in the market, such as Microgaming, Evolution and as of its latest cooperation, Wazdan. As this article is written 15 Wazdan games have found its way into the casino’s library and some of them are big successes like Burning Reels or Magic Fruits 4 Deluxe.
Andrzej Hyla, Head of Sales at Wazdan expressed his pride for this partnership and he praised Grand Casino for its contribution to the gaming sector in Hungary.
On Grand Casino’s behalf, Robert Peters, CEO of the operator, highlighted the importance of partnering with successful providers like Wazdan which can give a tremendous boost to an online casino.
