Scientific Games (SG) Corporation made two significant additions to its network of partners with the agreements they signed with 888 Casino and Betsson. More specifically, SG will provide 888 Casino’s brand in Spain with more than 120 games via its Open Gaming System (OGS) platform.
Dylan Slaney, Senior Vice Precident at SG Digital, expressed his satisfaction for the deal, addressing that 888 is a “huge player in the Spanish iGaming market”. 888 Casino can now use SG’s in-house and partners’ gaming portfolio that includes titles like Merlin’s Millions, Superbet, Gorilla Go Wilder and Zeus 2.
Guy Cohen, Senior Vice President of B2C at 888, was equally enthusiastic for the cooperation and he stated that his company looks forward to creating an open communication channel with SG in terms of customers deliverance.
Scientific Games concluded another partnership, apart from the one with 888 Casino, by agreeing on a deal with the Swedish-based operator, Betsson. Betsson will release a jackpot product that will allow slot lovers to play on a multiplayer mode and win collective prizes. According to SG, this will give a sense of community to the game.
Phil Lam, Head of Gaming at Betsson elaborated on the “community sense’ by stressing that social gaming is the new online casino trend that is to be looked forward to in 2020. He added that he was impressed by SG’s jackpot slot, Mega Drop Quest, the slot that will be used to test the possibility of success of syndicated jackpots.
Betsson will be a pioneer in this field, as the first Scientific Games’ partner that included a syndicated jackpot to its library. The new jackpot feature will make its debut in Europe but extra release dates for various markets are to be announced.
Dylan Slaney commented on that as well by highlighting the importance of introducing the new product in a proper way so that the players start to trust and enjoy it. He added that SG had envisioned about the community sense that slot games need, a long time ago and they are pleased that it will be Betsson, the operator that will crack the new feature to the market.
