Playtech plc confirmed the extension of the partnership with GVC Holdings until 2025. The new contract that the two parts signed indicates that Playtech will provide its games not only to the existing jurisdictions that GVC brands operate but also to any new regions will be added to the company’s reach in the future.
The new deal prolongs the successful collaboration of the two powerhouses of the gambling industry. GVC Holdings is the owner company of some of the most recognized brands in the world like Bwin, Ladbrokes or Party Casino. The agreement will see GVC platform integrating Playtech products and services to its portfolio as well as many of the GVC brands gaining access to Playtech content.
Furthermore, Playtech BGT Sports services expansion will also be part of the deal as from now on the company will supply Ladbrokes Coral with software solutions on land-based betting points in the UK. Playtech will see its reach broadening to other jurisdictions, too, like the Republic of Ireland and Belgium.
Mor Weizer, CEO of Playtech, expressed his gratitude over the course of the partnership in the last few years and stated that it is proof of Playtech’s leverage in the iGaming industry.
Kenneth Alexander, CEO of GVC Holdings, was also satisfied with the new deal and highlighted the benefits of such an agreement for the company and the players. Mr Alexander explained that a bigger number of players will have the opportunity to entertain themselves with Playtech games while the company will proceed faster with the integration of Ladbrokes Coral in terms of using the same technology platform with the rest of the brands which of course includes Playtech games.
