London-listed world-leading igaming software company, Playtech came to terms to further their partnership with online gambling powerhouse, GVC. Playtech is going to launch its portfolio of games across top industry brands like bwin, Sportingbet or Party Casino in various markets.
Through this partnership, Playtech opens the road to key regulated markets like the UK, Italy, Spain and Georgia. The UK websites of bwin and Sportingbet will also see the exclusive casino games of the company offered on their websites. Ladbrokes and Coral another two brands of GVC already enjoy the exclusive Playtech casino tab.
From now on, players that hold an account at GVC’s websites are able to choose from over 600 games of the company including the famous slots series of Age of the Gods or another success of Playetch, The Dark Knight. The provider’s data-driven platform, IMS, allows the company’s software to integrate with the operator’s technology so as to offer an excellent quality experience to the player.
The alliance is going to have an impact on the regulated markets of Greece and Belgium as well, via GVC’s brands, Sportingbet and Vistabet. As GVC is ambitious to expand to further regulated markets in 2019 and 2020 this will extend the number of Playtech casinos as well.
Shimon Akad, Playtech COO, stated that this partnership has been only in its first level as the two sides expect to enter more regulated and growing markets.
Shay Segev, GVC’s Co-COO, added that the alliance has already been proven fruitful through the years as Playtech’s content has always been popular among the players and he anticipates to have the same warm welcome in the new markets.
Playtech confirmed another cooperation, this time with Betboo, a leading operator in the Brazilian online gambling market. Playtech is looking to solidify its omni-channel presence in Latin America, too, after securing partnerships in Mexico and Colombia.
