Novomatic Group continues its expansion by renovating a new casino near Seville, in Spain. The new addition in the family of Novomatic casinos is Casino Admiral Sevilla which opened its doors two weeks ago after renovations that cost the American provider a sum of around $6.7 million. The casino, previously known as Gran Casino Aljarafe, was purchased in 2016 and Novomatic completed its ‘facelift’ this year.
Situated in Tomares, a small city near Seville in the region of Andalucia, Casino Admiral Sevilla covers 10,764 square feet and has vast variety of slots and traditional table games like roulette, blackjack and poker. The venue doesn’t feature only the casino, but it offers a sportsbook, a huge events center named Sala Tarsis and two restaurants as well. One of them is dedicated to Japanese cuisine while the other offers local Andalucian tastes.
The opening of the casino was held in a glamorous fashion as 300 lucky VIPs and media members attended a night with live music, drinks and a complete presentation of the new facilities. Among the invitees were Manuel Vázquez Martín, General Director of Taxes, Finance and Gaming of the Spanish Government in Andalusia, as well as Jose Luis Sanz, the Major of Tomares.
Manfred Schartner, managing director for Novomatic AG’s Spanish operations, stated proudly for the new casino that is part of the expansion plan of the company in Spain and in the near future more casinos’ inaugurations will follow. Novomatic sets its eyes upon the Spanish countryside and especially the Andalucian region as company’s plans involve expansion in Malaga and Granada in partnership with the Admiral Brand.
Novomatic made its debut as a provider in the markets of Costa Rica and Vietnam this year as well. The Group’s strategy to conquer the world is at its peak as Novomatic has physical locations in more than 50 countries and cooperation agreements for software providing in more than 70.
