Intralot, one of the biggest lottery solutions of Greece, has signed with the country’s lottery monopoly – OPAP, a one-year extension to its lottery services partnership.
The two companies agreed on a partnership until July 31, 2024, with Intralot providing OPAP with a sequence of lottery products and services. Including the supply of LotoxS, Intralot’s core product, which launched in 2019, likewise as other services and components.
As an Intralot spokesperson said: “The lottery solution enables OPAP to keep optimizing the gaming experience and responsibly increase the engagement of the players in Greece and Cyprus. Our next-generation, the future-proof platform is designed to build scalable ecosystems that meet the growing market demand and fully supports the modernization and digital transformation of OPAP.”
A year-on-year increase in both revenue and net profit during the third quarter of 2021 was reported last month, crediting this to growth across its sports betting and online casino operations. For that period the revenue was up 20.3% to €470.2m (£399.7m/$530.7m), while net profit came in at €96.0m, an increase of 83.6% on €52.3m in Q3 of 2020.
